Lidl launches new Crivit X.3 and Y.3 electric bikes with carbon belt for city commuting at speeds up to 25 km/h

Lidl has launched a new range of electric bikes, the Crivit X.3 and Y.3, for city commuting.

The new models are available in the Netherlands, France and Germany and are ideal for city commuting, daily commuting or for household needs.
There are four variants of these e-bikes in total. The belt-driven X.3 and Y.3 models are equipped with a Gates SideTrack carbon belt, which provides high durability and is maintenance-free.
The other two models are equipped with a Shimano Cues U4000 9-speed drivetrain. The X.3 bikes have an upper crossover frame, suitable for people between 170 and 195 cm tall, while the Y.3 has a lower crossover frame and is recommended for people between 160 and 190 cm tall.










All models are powered by a 250W Mivice M080 motor, which allows for speeds of up to 25 km/h. There are three modes and an additional 20-second power boost.
The 355 Wh battery provides a range of up to 100 km and can be removed for charging, which takes 3.5 hours. Other features include 27.5-inch Schwalbe Big Ben tyres, Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes, a headlight, taillight, luggage rack, SP Connect smartphone holder and Fidlock "Bike Base" magnetic holder.




Prices for these bikes are currently reduced. The belt-driven Crivit X.3 and Y.3 models can be purchased for €1,299, while the Shimano models cost between €1,399 and €1,699 depending on the country. In Germany, the price for the belt-driven models is €1,699, while the Shimano models are priced at €1,799.
