Team Ninja apologises for terrible Rise of the Ronin optimisation on PC and promises to release a major patch on April 10

Team Ninja developers have officially apologised to players for the problems with the optimisation of the PC version of Rise of the Ronin and promised to release an update to fix them.
Here's What We Know
Rise of the Ronin was released on Steam on 11 March 2025 and currently has mixed reviews: only 57% of more than 3,000 reviews are positive. Players complain about numerous technical issues, including
- poor optimisation;
- delays in loading enemies during boss battles;
- lack of NPCs;
- invisible walls;
- missing objects such as ladders.
And while people like the gameplay, combat system, and exploration, they cannot recommend this game given its terrible optimisation.
On 3 April, Team Ninja released a statement announcing that it was investigating the issues and preparing a patch to be released on 10 April. The statement reads: "We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience you may have experienced."
We can only believe that Rise of the Ronin on PC will be rehabilitated.
