The main goal of the air patrol is to ensure public order and safety of citizens.
Four areas have been identified to be monitored from the air: Khortytsia National Reserve, Dubovyi Hai Park, Victory Park and Voznesenivskyi Park with the Veselka Fountain Cascade. In these places, the drones will not only record the situation but also warn citizens of potential threats.

Law enforcement officers chose Chinese-made drones - DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise - for patrolling. This model has a 4K camera that provides high-quality photo and video capture, including HDR and high-definition modes. Thanks to Vision Sensing, the drone is able to avoid obstacles and maintain a stable position even in difficult conditions.
The return to start point function with updated navigation allows the device to independently plot the best route back. The APAS 5.0 system also helps to avoid obstacles during flight, which increases the safety of use.
The police consider drones to be an important technological solution that will increase the efficiency of policing in the city.
