Porsche launches 911 Spirit 70 - a 1970s-inspired special edition

Porsche has unveiled the third model in its Heritage Design range, the 911 Spirit 70. As the name suggests, it refers to the stylistics of the 1970s and is created in a limited edition of only 1,500 copies. The car will join the previously shown 911 Targa 4S Heritage Design Edition and 911 Sport Classic.
Here's What We Know
The technical basis of the new car of the "retro" series is a rear-wheel drive 911 GTS convertible. Under the bonnet is a hybrid powertrain: a 3.6-litre opposition six-cylinder engine and an electric motor in the PDK transmission. The combined output is 398 kW (541 hp) and 610 N-m. As standard, the car is fitted with Sport Classic alloy wheels painted in a golden grey colour that Porsche calls Bronzite.

The bodywork is painted in the original Olive Neo Green colour. The vintage style is emphasised by the black windscreen frame, the soft-top roof as well as the three stripes and the elongated "911" lettering on the bonnet. At the same time, the doors have a graphic with the Porsche inscription and a "lollipop" - a round sticker with an individual starting number. However, at the customer's request these elements can be not applied.
The interior is also decorated in the spirit of the seventies: the central parts of seats and decorative elements are covered with black-olive material with a pattern Pasha, reminiscent of a chessboard.

The instrument panel deserves special attention: the digital display with a diagonal of 12.65 inches is stylised as an analogue scale with green illumination and white arrows - a reference to the classic 911. The Sport Chrono integrated in the centre console is made in the same style.
The 911 Spirit 70 is already available to order. In Germany, prices start from 240,000 euros and deliveries will begin from April 2025. In the US, sales are scheduled to start in late summer and the price will be $240,000, excluding the delivery charge ($2,500) and taxes.
