The OnePlus 13R, although launched a few months ago, now supports a new feature that only the recently announced OnePlus 13T received.

Here's What We Know

The OnePlus 13R update brings a new charging bypass feature that allows users to play demanding games without overheating. During the game, the smartphone charges, but the energy does not go to the battery, which reduces the risk of overheating. This is ideal for gamers who play for long periods of time.

In addition to the charging bypass, the update brings new OxygenOS 15 widgets, partial screen recording, and the April 2025 security patch.

Another important new feature is the ability to transfer files to Macs. Thanks to the new update, OnePlus 13R users can connect their smartphones to Macs and easily view and share files, making working with both platforms much more convenient.

The update (OxygenOS 15.0.0.801) is currently rolling out in India, where the OnePlus 13R is priced at INR 42,998 on Amazon India. However, there is no information about a global launch yet.

As a reminder, the new OnePlus power bank can charge MacBook Pro up to 54% in 30 minutes. The new product has a 20,000 mAh battery and costs 349 yuan (about $48). The power bank is equipped with a built-in folding USB-C cable, another USB-C port and one USB-A port, which allows you to charge up to three devices at the same time. Each port supports up to 100W of power, for a total of 150W.
