Xiaomi has revealed the list of its gadgets that will no longer receive support.
Here's What We Know
Immediately, seven once popular smartphones have reached the end-of-life (EOL) status, which means that they will no longer receive software updates and the manufacturer will not be able to guarantee the security of these devices.
The list of obsolete smartphones:
- Poco F4 GT (will end the cycle with HyperOS 2.0.1.0);
- Redmi K50 Gaming (with HyperOS 2.0.2.0);
- Redmi 10A (with MIUI 12.5);
- Redmi Note 11S (with HyperOS 1 on Android 13);
- Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G(with HyperOS 1);
- Xiaomi 11i (with HyperOS 1);
- Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge (with HyperOS 1).
All the mentioned gadgets will continue to work, providing the same features, but they won't have any new features, and neither will the Android 15-based OS. The main concern will be vulnerability to new threats and potential leakage of personal data.
