Compact flagships have become even more powerful thanks to advanced batteries based on silicon-carbon (Si/C) materials, with compact devices now able to have batteries of more than 6,000 mAh.

One of these smartphones is the OnePlus 13T, which is equipped with a 6260 mAh battery. This allows it to show excellent results in autonomy tests, outperforming even more powerful models from competitors.

Here's What We Know

In a recent battery test, the OnePlus 13T competed with flagships such as the iPhone 16 Pro Max, Galaxy S25 Ultra, Xiaomi 15 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL and OnePlus 13.

  • OnePlus 13T: 6260 mAh
  • iPhone 16 Pro Max: 4685 mAh
  • Galaxy S25 Ultra: 5000 mAh
  • Xiaomi 15 Pro: 6100 mAh
  • Pixel 9 Pro XL: 5060 mAh
  • OnePlus 13: 6000 mAh

Test results

The Pixel 9 Pro XL couldn't last long, shutting down first and showing the highest temperatures. The Galaxy S25 Ultra switched off only 14 minutes after the OnePlus 13. Although the S25 Ultra also has a large battery, Samsung has managed to significantly optimise its software for better power efficiency.

The Xiaomi 15 Pro lasted another 19 minutes longer than the Galaxy, but still lost out to the iPhone 16 Pro Max by 6 minutes. And the OnePlus 13T continued to work 32 minutes longer than any competitor, confirming its status as the leader.

This test shows that Chinese smartphone manufacturers have made significant progress in battery and software optimisation.

OnePlus recently announced that it has no plans to sell the OnePlus 13T in Europe and North America.
