Silent Hill 2's iconic soundtrack will be released on deluxe vinyl records

There is no doubt that Silent Hill 2's soundtrack is memorable for millions of gamers. The tunes composed by Akira Yamaoka are beautiful, atmospheric and perfectly emphasise the events taking place and add, depending on the scene, drama, horror or melancholy.
In the 2024 remake from Bloober Team, Yamaoka has expanded and re-recorded the music and now Konami is ready to offer music lovers a deluxe vinyl set.
Here's What We Know
In conjunction with Laced Records, Konami has unveiled four sets of vinyl records featuring music from Silent Hill 2:
Silent Hill 2 Limited Edition Deluxe X6LP Boxset, a limited edition of red and brown vinyl records featuring 93 tunes from the game. Each record has been given an individual beautifully decorated cover. The set includes a 32-page artbook with exclusive notes from the composer. The set is priced at £125.
Silent Hill 2 Deluxe X6LP Boxset-A standard black vinyl edition. The contents of the set are identical to the Deluxe Edition. The boxset costs £125.
There are two simpler options available: Silent Hill 2 Exclusive Edition Deluxe Double Vinyl with milky white vinyl and Silent Hill 2 Deluxe Double Vinyl in black. These sets include 27 tracks each, personally selected by Akira Yamaoka, without the artbook and are significantly cheaper at £36.
All sets will go on sale in October 2025 and pre-orders are now open.
