The star of The Last of Us 2 series has joined the work on Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, but details are kept secret even from the actors

Steven A. Chung, familiar to many for his role as Jesse in The Last of Us Part 2, has lifted the veil of secrecy over what he's working on for Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet. Although the details remain scarce even for him, Dexerto managed to catch a few interesting tidbits.
Here's What We Know
The announcement of Intergalactic at The Game Awards 2024 became a real sensation. The most famous PlayStation studio is preparing something completely original. However, after the unexpected announcement, information about the game is carefully guarded. It is not known when we will see news about the project again, let alone the release date. As it turned out, the lack of information is felt not only by impatient fans but also by the developers themselves, who are deliberately kept in partial darkness.
Recently, Dexerto spoke with actor Stephen A. Chang, who not only played Jesse in the latest Naughty Dog game but also got an undisclosed role in the upcoming project. Although it's too early to talk about specific details, the actor shared some thoughts on the production process and his own vision of what we should expect.
At the beginning of the conversation, Chang noted that his personal work on Intergalactic has just begun: "I started working on the next Naughty Dog game last week," he confirmed.
This time, the studio is trying to maintain maximum secrecy, as Chang put it, after the infamous leaks before the release of The Last of Us Part 2. Of course, on such a project, there is a strict discipline regarding the disclosure of information, but as it turned out, key details are being hidden even from those who are directly working on the game.
"What I know about it is probably no more than you guys know, and I think that's intentional. I saw the trailer maybe a week before it came out. I really didn't know what to expect. I have a friend who is working on the game as well. She was like: "Is this The Last of Us Part 3 we're working on?" So we didn't even know what we were getting into."
However, speaking about the details he does know, Chang exuded confidence, hinting that "it's going to be the next big thing." Instead of receiving full scripts that paint a picture from start to finish, Chang explained that some actors on the project are only given snippets. "That's how we shot The Last of Us Part 2," he said, "We shot in sections. We received pieces of the script. Sometimes not even in chronological order."
So far, it looks like Naughty Dog is preparing something really big and unexpected. We can only wait for new details about Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet to get a fuller picture of this mysterious cosmic world.
