Ubisoft has published a trailer with the gameplay of Anno 117: Pax Romana gameplay trailer showing city building, trade, and diplomacy

Ubisoft Mainz has presented the first extensive gameplay demo of Anno 117: Pax Romana, a historical strategy game where the player takes on the role of a Roman provincial governor. The task is to build a powerful city in the Latium region for the benefit of the Emperor. But it is not as easy as it seems.
Here's What We Know
The game begins with basic infrastructure: the construction of sawmills, housing for workers, and the provision of basic needs for residents. For example, you will have to take into account the hygiene of citizens - it is not a good idea to put a pigsty next to the market. You can also build your own villa, from which you will manage the development of the city.
In the course of the game, trade with other cities, diplomacy, and military mechanics, such as port defence and the fight against pirates, are unlocked. Later, the player will be able to travel to Albion, where the Celts live. There, they will have to choose whether to impose the power of Rome or respect local traditions.
Where To Play
Anno 117: Pax Romana will be released by the end of 2025 on Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, and PC.
