At Computex 2025, HP unveiled the OmniBook 5, a new line of compact, powerful and affordable laptops with great features.

Here's What We Know

OmniBook 5 are available with 14″ and 16″ OLED screens. The laptops have received Windows Copilot+ certification and will be great for AI work. The new product has got a 45 TOPS Neural Processing Unit (NPU) that will provide support for advanced AI features like Recall, Click-to-Do, improved Windows search, Cocreator in Paint and others. HP has also added its own AI Compaion that analyses documents, optimises performance and performs other tasks.

Key features of the OmniBook 5:

  • OLED screens with 2K resolution, 0.2ms response time and 95% DCI-P3 colour space coverage;
  • Snapdragon X Plus X1P-42-100 (up to 3.4 GHz) or Snapdragon X1-26-100 (up to 2.9 GHz) octa-core processors;
  • Qualcomm Adreno integrated graphics;
  • 16 or 32GB of DDR5-8448 RAM;
  • 256GB, 512GB or 1TB PCIe Gen4 SSD storage;
  • battery will provide up to 34 hours of battery life, 65W fast charging support (50% in 30 minutes);
  • connectivity: Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, two USB Type-C (10Gbps) ports, one USB Type-A, 3.5mm audio jack;
  • laptops can be connected to two external 4K resolution displays or one 5K resolution display.

The OmniBook 5 computers are available in Glacial Silver colour.

Sales will start in July. Notebook price:

  • OmniBook 5 14 - from $799.
  • OmniBook 5 16 - from $849.
