At Computex 2025, Asus has officially unveiled its flagship ROG Strix GS-BE18000 router. The new product has improved specifications and support for the latest Wi-Fi 7 standard.

Here's What We Know

The device provides a tri-band data transfer rate of up to 18,000 Mbit/s: 688 Mbit/s at 2.4 GHz, 5765 Mbit/s at 5 GHz and 11,529 Mbit/s at 6 GHz. It supports 320MHz channel, 4K-QAM, Multi-Link Operation (MLO) and Automatic Frequency Control (AFC) technologies that improve connection stability and reduce latency.

The router is equipped with eight antennas, a 2.0 GHz quad-core processor, 2 GB of RAM, and 256 MB of internal storage. Coverage of up to 300 m² makes it ideal for large homes and networks with many connected devices.

The GS-BE18000 has eight 2.5GbE ports (one WAN and seven LAN), two of which are optimised for gaming, and a USB 3.2 port for connecting modems or storage devices. It supports AiMesh technology, Trend Micro's AiProtection Pro, VPN, adaptive QoS, and gaming features such as Game Boost and Mobile Game Mode. To personalise the device, there is a built-in RGB backlight with customisable effects.

The router is already available on Best Buy in the US for $449.99.

ASUS has recently introduced the ROG 100W Gaming Charger Dock. The ROG 100W Gaming Charger Dock is a compact device that combines a charger and a hub for connecting peripherals.
