The foggy city is full of bugs: Silent Hill 2 on PS5 Pro still hasn't been fixed, but Bloober Team promises new patches to fix the situation

The remake of the iconic Silent Hill 2, which was released in 2024, was supposed to become one of the flagships of PlayStation 5 Pro support. However, despite the performance improvements, owners of the more powerful console faced technical issues that have not yet been fully resolved. Developers from Bloober Team confirmed that they are working on a solution together with Konami, but did not name specific deadlines.
Here's What We Know
Silent Hill 2 is one of the most anticipated remakes of recent years, which received an update for PS5 Pro with improved graphics and performance. However, after the release, players began to complain about various bugs and technical issues that affected the gaming experience. Konami and the Bloober Team promptly released several patches, but many issues remained unresolved.
Subsequently, updates began to be released less frequently, which caused concern among fans - do the developers plan to continue supporting the game? In a recent commentary for Eurogamer, Bloober Team confirmed that they are working with the publisher to "resolve the issues", but are not yet ready to disclose details.
"We are working with the publisher on a solution and will share more information as soon as it becomes available," Bloober Team said when asked about the PS5 Pro patch.
Silent Hill 2 is available on PS5 and PC (where the horror is fine). If you're not familiar with the game yet, we recommend checking out our detailed review.
