The Fairphone 6, an unbreakable smartphone with a modular design and years of software support, will be released at the end of June

Leaders of the global smartphone market tend to produce the thinnest and most stylish gadgets, designed for 2-3 years of use with further replacement with the next models. But the Dutch company Fairphone has chosen a different approach and produces durable (practically, unbreakable) smartphones, which can not boast of elegance.
Here's What We Know
Already on 25 June the company will present Fairphone 6 - a new model of smartphone, in which you can replace all the main components: battery, cameras, USB-port, display, speakers and so on, and the user can do it himself with a screwdriver.
First of all, the idea of the Dutch manufacturer is aimed at environmental friendliness due to the long-term use of the gadget and, as a result, reducing waste from production.
The Fairphone 6 is expected to get 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, and buyers will be offered at least two colours: Horizon Black and Forest Green.

Flashback
The previous Fairphone model came out in 2023 and received a Qualcomm QCM6490 processor. Notably, there is software support for this smartphone until 2031.
