Finally, Sony has come to its senses: without any public announcements, the company is cancelling the mandatory PSN account link to purchase PC games

The mandatory linking of a PSN account to purchase PC games was one of the most unpopular decisions in the history of Sony's gaming division, resulting in major reputational losses, public scandals and no access to Sony games for users in nearly 180 countries and regions.
It looks like Sony has finally made the only right decision.
Here's What We Know
Gamers noticed that the Japanese company, without public announcement, removes regional bans on its biggest hits in Steam and no longer requires PSN to purchase them.
The positive momentum started with the PC version of Stellar Blade, and now the following games are available without PSN:
- Marvel's Spider-Man 2;
- Helldivers 2;
- God of War: Ragnarok;
- Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered;
- The Last of Us Part II Remastered.
Meanwhile, a PlayStation Network account is still required for Until Dawn, Lego Horizon Adventures, and Ghost of Tsushima. Most likely, the restriction will be lifted for these games in the near future.
Sony appears to be removing regional restrictions on their Steam/PC games
