Samsung Newsroom blog published an article about the new health tracking features that will appear in the One UI 8 update for the Korean manufacturer's smartwatch.
Here's What We Know
Samsung plans to release a beta version of the One UI 8 Watch at the end of June, which at first will only be available for US and South Korean residents with Galaxy Watch 5 and newer to try out.
The One UI 8 Watch beta will include new features including:
- Bedtime Guidance - analyses sleep quality data from the past three days and makes recommendations to help you find the best resting routine;
- Vascular Load - measures the level of stress on the vascular system during sleep;
- Running Coach - provides recommendations during jogging;
- Antioxidant Index - an important option that determines the antioxidant index in the body.
The purpose of the new features is to help form healthy daily habits, which can be challenging as they are not produced in an instant. It takes time to form sustainable behaviours, and meaningful changes often only become visible after sustained effort. But the rewards are worth it.
