Less than a month remains until the release of Anno 117: Pax Romana, and Ubisoft continues to reveal important features of the new city-building strategy game. The company has released an extended trailer that provides a comprehensive impression of the game.
What is known
Ubisoft showcased a 12-minute video consisting of demonstrations of beautiful landscapes and settlements in Lazio and the British Albion, along with gameplay footage.
The developer briefly talked about the beginning of the game, city building and development systems, the basics of economic and political management, the necessity to build an army to protect your territory, the value of logistics routes, and maritime paths.
As a governor appointed by the Roman Emperor, the player will have considerable freedom of action but must obey orders from the metropolis to maintain the favor of the head of the Empire. It's known that Anno 117: Pax Romana will allow players to resist the Emperor's will, attempt to break away from his influence and establish their own state.
It's worth noting that although the footage from the presented trailer was somehow recorded using the beta version, Anno 117: Pax Romana attracts with its graphic and visual execution: buildings, clothing, and household items look historically accurate, enhanced by excellent musical accompaniment that deepens immersion into the game.
