Asus ROG Azoth 96 HE — gaming mechanical keyboard with magnetic switches and OLED display
ASUS has officially introduced the ROG Azoth 96 HE — a new mechanical gaming keyboard with HFX V2 magnetic switches, an OLED display, and support for three connection modes. Easily replaceable switches operate based on the Hall effect, allowing flexible adjustment of the actuation threshold from 0.1 to 3.5 mm.
Quiet Press, Fast Actuation
The keyboard can be connected to up to five devices simultaneously using three different methods: wirelessly via the proprietary SpeedNova dongle, Bluetooth, or the good old USB wire, as our ancestors did. Regardless of the connection method, the polling rate is a fantastic 8000 Hz, i.e., 8000 times per second, which corresponds to approximately 0.123 ms per poll — more than enough even for dynamic esports disciplines. Asus assures that the switches are factory calibrated and protected from electromagnetic interference. The switches also have six-layer damping, providing smooth key movement without jerks and a low noise level, which is a common problem for all mechanical keyboards.
Beautiful Design, Informative Display
The keyboard features a metal skeleton-style body that never goes out of style. On the top right is a 1.47” OLED screen that shows system information and allows keyboard settings to be adjusted without opening proprietary software.
