Garmin Venu 2 and Venu 2S: smart watches in two sizes, with heart rate monitor and battery life up to 11 days for $400

Garmin has introduced an updated series of smart watches Venu, which comprises models Venu 2 and Venu 2S.

What is common and what is different

In fact, the versions differ only in size and battery capacity. Venu 2 has a 1.3 -inch display with a resolution of 416 × 416 pixels and up to 11 days of battery life on a single charge, while Venu 2S has 10 days of battery life and a 1.1 - inch screen with a resolution of 360 × 360 pixels.

Both models have Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protective glass, a waterproof case (5 ATM) and a set of GPS / GLONASS satellite navigation systems receiver, barometric altimeter, compass, accelerometer, gyroscope, thermometer and light sensor.

The watch can measure heart rate, oxygen level in the blood, analyze stress levels, monitor sleep and breathing quality, and also count the number of steps taken and calories spent on it.

A variety of sports modes, animated workouts and a Health Snapshot feature are also available to record and store key health metrics.

Price

Both versions of the watch were priced at $399.
