Insider: smart watch Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 4 will receive 5-nanometer SoC, flat screen and thin bezels

Chinese insider Ice Universe posted on Twitter further details about Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 4 smartwatch.

So, the new item, according to the informant, will work under the control of a new 5-nanometer processor. Which chip it will be Ice Universe did not say. Most likely, we are talking about the proprietary SoC Exynos.

The watch will also have a glass without rounding, as well as a reduced frame with a titanium alloy texture. The Galaxy Watch Active 4 will be launched in two versions: one with aluminum case, and the other will  have stainless steel. The gadget will be delivered with the Wear OS operating systemThe best of Wear OS and Tizen: the new Google Wear OS unveiled, where Samsung and Fitbit smartwatches are migrating to. 

When to expect

There is no exact date for the announcement of Galaxy Watch Active 4 yet. Presumably, they will be presented along with the regular Galaxy Watch 4 at a presentation in July or August.
