Google Pixel 11 May Feature Innovative Backlighting Inspired by Nothing's Design
The young British brand Nothing knows that it cannot realistically compete with tech giants in terms of technological innovation and production scale. Therefore, it actively experiments with design solutions, and one of its features might be 'borrowed' by one of those very giants.
We're talking about the backlight of Nothing smartphones, which, in one form or another, might appear on the Google Pixel 11.
What is known
Journalists from the Android Authority portal dug into the latest beta version of Android 17 and found mention of the Pixel Glow feature.
Its hidden description states that it will dynamically react to various actions and notifications and inform the user about, for example, which app sent a notification or who is calling.
It is possible that an analogue of the Nothing's Glyph Matrix might appear in Google smartphones, but not in the 11 series, in one of the subsequent ones.
