ASUS introduced the flagship monitor ProArt Display OLED PA32USD, which promises to set a new standard for professional designers, video editors, and visual effects specialists. The novelty combines impeccable OLED panel quality and unique workflow automation tools.

Perfect Picture and Speed

The device is based on a 31.5” 4K OLED panel, which provides infinite contrast and perfect black color. Unlike many professional solutions, the PA32USD boasts an impressive refresh rate of 240 Hz and a response time of 0.1 ms. This makes working with dynamic video as smooth as possible, eliminating any trails and blurring. The monitor is certified according to the VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 standard and achieves a peak brightness of 1000 nits, which allows full work with HDR content in Dolby Vision, HDR10, and HLG formats.

Such characteristics will make the monitor ideal for those who enjoy taking a break from work with video games.

Laboratory Precision Out of the Box

The main feature of the PA32USD is the built-in motorized colorimeter. The sensor automatically extends from the bezel for calibration, ensuring color accuracy (Delta E < 1) without using external devices. The declared color gamut coverage is 99% DCI-P3, which is critically important for film production. In addition, the monitor is equipped with ambient light and presence sensors that help maintain stable brightness and save panel resources.

Professional Integration

The PA32USD model is designed to work in complex studio chains. The 12G-SDI interface allows direct connection of professional cameras and video mixers to receive uncompressed content in real-time.

An expanded hub is designed for modern workstations:

  • Thunderbolt 4 with charging power up to 96W and support for daisy chaining.
  • KVM switch for controlling two computers with one set of peripherals.
  • modern DisplayPort 2.1 and HDMI 2.1 ports.

Design and Ergonomics

ASUS also paid attention to comfort: a professional protective hood is included to prevent glare, and an ergonomic stand allows detailed adjustment of the screen position. A version with elegant legs is also provided for using the monitor as a desktop control display.
