Motorola Edge 70 Pro Unveiled: 6500mAh Battery, Triple 50MP Cameras & 144Hz Display at $450!
The official presentation of the new sub-flagship smartphone from Motorola — the Edge 70 Pro took place. Its features became known last week, but now the manufacturer has revealed all the details and launched sales in India.
Display and performance
The smartphone received a 6.8” pOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, a 144 Hz refresh rate, and an impressive brightness of up to 5200 nits with support for HDR10+ and 10-bit color rendering certified by Pantone — these indicators guarantee smooth interface operation, comfortable mobile gaming, and excellent readability even under bright sunlight.
The performance of the Edge 70 Pro is powered by a powerful sub-flagship MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme chipset, complemented by up to 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 flash memory.
Record-breaking autonomy
The main feature of the Motorola Edge 70 Pro is a 6500 mAh battery — slightly larger than the Edge 60 Pro, which is equipped with a 6000 mAh battery. For those who don't like to wait near an outlet, there is support for 90W fast wired charging.
Photography capabilities without compromises
On the back panel of the Edge 70 Pro are three full-fledged modules, each with a 50 MP resolution:
- main Sony LYT-710 sensor with improved optical stabilization (OIS) for night shooting;
- ultra-wide-angle lens: with macro shooting support;
- telephoto lens: for high-quality optical zoom without loss of detail.
The front camera also received 50 MP with 4K video support.
Additional features and price
The Motorola Edge 70 Pro received high protection against water and dust according to IP68/IP69 standards. The gadget is equipped with stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support and 5G and Wi-Fi 6E connectivity modules.
Buyers are offered a smartphone in three elegant colors, developed in collaboration with Pantone: Lily White with a marble texture, Tea (green), and Titan (blue).
The manufacturer guarantees at least three Android updates and five years of security patches and claims wide AI capabilities of the novelty.
The price of the Motorola Edge 70 Pro in India is $450 for the model with 12/256 GB. It is still unknown when the smartphone will appear in other regions.
