What is known
The main innovation of patch 1.04.00 is the addition of difficulty levels: instead of a fixed setting, the game now offers three options — Easy, Standard, and High, making the game more interesting for all users.
The authors have also added several control presets for controllers, keyboard, and mouse and introduced an instant action execution function when pressing the Interaction button.
A storage for collectible items and a "sturdy storage for items needed for house construction" appeared in Crimson Desert. Two refrigerator options are provided for storing food and ingredients, and the main character's clothes are conveniently organized in a wardrobe.
Of course, new pets and five additional types of cats were introduced. Characters trading livestock began roaming the open world.
In addition, 13 unique tattoos for the protagonist have been added to the game, along with weapons, equipment items, the developers have conducted a general boss rebalance, improved the interface, and enhanced image quality.
The full list of changes can be found on the Crimson Desert website.
The game is available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series, and its sales exceeded 5 million copies in less than a month. The authors are actively discussing the possibility of porting the game to Nintendo Switch 2.
