Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Shatters Records with 8 Million Sales in First Year!
Exactly one year ago, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 was released — a game whose impact on the industry has yet to be realized. The young studio Sandfall Interactive released a debut project with a total budget of only $10 million, which conquered the hearts of critics and gamers and became the most award-winning game in history.
Today the developers celebrate and are eager to share their joy with the community.
What is known
Expedition 33 received a small patch, which in addition to fixing a number of bugs, added bonus hairstyles for each of the main game heroes. This is a small token of appreciation from the authors for the high evaluation of their efforts.
In addition, Sandfall Interactive reported that sales of its mega-successful game exceeded 8 million copies in a year. For a complex, unconventional, and specific genre title, it's an excellent result that couldn't have been imagined before the release of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, especially considering that since its release it has been available in the Game Pass catalog, where many players preferred to acquaint themselves with it.
We're so thrilled, and honestly still quite overwhelmed, to announce that Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has officially reached 8 MILLION copies sold!
