Tom Holland Returns in Thrilling "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" Trailer - New York Forgets Peter Parker!
Sony Pictures and Marvel have unveiled the second trailer for the highly anticipated movie “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” which will bring Tom Holland back to the screens.
The trailer is filled with spectacular action scenes and highlights the main plot feature: after Doctor Strange's intervention, all of New York forgot that Spider-Man is Peter Parker, and the hero once again starts fighting crime anonymously, just like at the beginning of his journey. Previously familiar characters, such as the Punisher, Bruce Banner, and Scorpion, will return to the storyline, and the main villains will be members of the Hand clan.
In Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Zendaya will once again join Tom Holland, reprising her role as Mary Jane (MJ). Interestingly, even Spider-Man's girlfriend won't recognize him! The director of the movie is Destin Daniel Cretton, known for “Shang-Chi” and the upcoming “Avengers: Doomsday,” set to release at the end of 2026.
Fans were delighted with the new trailer, but to further fuel interest, Sony and Insomniac Games will release a free DLC for the game Marvel's Spider-Man 2 on July 28, which will include the Spider-Man suit called Fresh Start Suit from the new movie.
The premiere of Spider-Man: Brand New Day will take place on July 31.
