Citizen UK has announced the AW1437-61W, a Spider-Man Eco-Drive watch priced at £349 and due in Fall 2026. The dial drops the clean, minimal look of previous Marvel collabs in favour of a full comic-panel scene — Spider-Man swinging against a New York City skyline, surrounded by web graphics. It's the most visually bold Marvel design Citizen has produced since the partnership launched in 2018.

The look

The case is 43mm stainless steel with a matte black ion-plated finish, matched by a three-link bracelet in the same coating. Against that dark frame, the silver-grey dial carries the NYC illustration in detail, with sword-shaped white hands and a standard date window at 3 o'clock keeping things legible. The standout detail: a luminescent green material is applied not just to the hands but to Spider-Man's eyes and individual web elements on the dial — so the scene partially comes alive in the dark.

One caveat on the crystal: Citizen uses mineral glass here rather than sapphire, which scratches more easily. It's a common trade-off at this price point, but worth knowing if you plan to wear it daily.

What's under the dial

The watch runs Citizen's J810 Eco-Drive caliber, which charges from any light source — natural or artificial — and holds a charge for months in the dark. That means no battery replacements, which is one of the strongest practical arguments for Eco-Drive at this price. Water resistance is rated to 100m (10 ATM), adequate for swimming and snorkelling.

Availability

The AW1437-61W is listed as "Coming Soon" on CitizenWatch UK at £349. No exact release date has been given beyond Fall 2026. The watch ships in a Marvel-branded gift box with a collectible pin, positioning it clearly at the collector and gifting end of the market. Comparable Marvel Eco-Drive models in the US sit in the $250–$350 range, so expect similar pricing stateside. Notebookcheck notes this design marks a clear shift from the blue-and-red colorways of earlier Spider-Man releases — if you've passed on those, this one looks noticeably different.
