Kingdom Come: Deliverance is getting a $200 board game
Czech Games Edition (CGE) has announced Kingdom Come: Deliverance — The Board Game, a fully analog tabletop adaptation of Warhorse Studios' medieval RPG series, priced at $199.99. Pre-orders open July 1–August 16, 2026 exclusively through the CGE and Kingdom Come official stores, with EU copies shipping October 2026 and US orders following in Q1 2027.
The game supports 1–4 players, runs 90-plus minutes per player, and comes packed with over 700 cards and 500 items across 10 main storylines and 55 side quests. No companion app is required — everything runs off the box.

The designers
CGE tapped two of the biggest names in modern board game design. Vlaada Chvátil, the Czech designer behind Codenames and Through the Ages, is a Spiel des Jahres Hall of Famer with more than 40 published titles. His co-designer Tomáš Holek won the 2024 Deutscher Spiele Preis — Germany's most prestigious board game award — along with three Dice Tower Awards and two Golden Geek Awards for SETI: Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence. This is their first collaboration.
The game is set in the same Bohemian locations as the first Kingdom Come video game. Rather than following Henry (Jindřich), players build a crew of up to four adventurers — or go it alone in solo mode — spending five in-game days exploring the map, picking up quests in taverns, and developing characters into swordsmen, smooth-talkers, or thieves. The RPG staples carry over: characters need to eat, sleep, and keep their gear in good repair.
No Kickstarter, by design
CGE is selling direct, not via crowdfunding. That matters, because the Kingdom Come tabletop space has a troubled history: Boardcubator raised around $360,000 on Kickstarter in 2022 for an earlier adaptation, then shut down without delivering — blaming rising production costs and industry instability. CGE, per Wargamer, is explicitly avoiding that model.
The game premieres at Essen SPIEL in October 2026. English is the only language at launch; German, French, Spanish, and other editions are slated for Q1 2027. Full component and rules details are available on the CGE campaign page.
