Motorola Edge 70 Neo leaks in official renders — but the US won't get it
Motorola's Edge 70 Neo has surfaced in what appear to be official renders, showing the phone in four color options ahead of any formal announcement. The images were published by The Mac Observer and come shortly after Motorola inadvertently confirmed the handset's existence via an Android 17 beta signup page on the official Lenovo forum. A launch looks close — India is the primary target market based on that registration.
The phone
The renders show a flat display with slim bezels and a centered punch-hole selfie camera. Motorola's signature square camera module is on the back. One sensor in the render carries a "200MP" label, though that figure needs a caveat: the US Motorola Edge (2026) — which launched in June at $599 and is widely believed to be the same hardware under a different name — ships with a confirmed 50MP Sony Lytia 710 main camera, per 9to5Google. Whether the global variant gets a different sensor or the render label is simply wrong isn't yet clear.

If the Edge 70 Neo does share specs with the US Edge (2026), expect a 6.3-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, a MediaTek Dimensity 7450 chip, a 5,000mAh battery, and 60W wired charging. That's a solid mid-range package.
Not for the US
The Neo branding has historically stayed out of the United States. Motorola never released the Edge 60 Neo here — it was only available through third-party gray-market importers, with no carrier support or guaranteed band compatibility, notes PhoneArena. The Edge 70 Neo looks set to follow the same pattern, targeting Europe and Asia while US buyers get the Edge (2026) instead.
If you're in the UK or Europe, the Edge 60 Neo arrived in 2025 and the 70 Neo is a plausible successor through the same retail channels. No pricing or release date has been announced yet, but the volume of leaks suggests the reveal isn't far off.
