iQOO Z11 launches in India on August 20 with a chip no other phone has yet
iQOO has confirmed its Z11 smartphone will go on sale in India on August 20, 2026, making it the first device in that market to carry the MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo chip. The phone pairs that processor with a curved 6.83-inch AMOLED display and a battery sized between 7,000 and 8,000mAh. If you're outside India, don't expect to walk into a store and buy one — iQOO has announced no UK or US certification path.
India-first, by design
The Z11 isn't just a repackaged version of iQOO's Chinese or Malaysian models. The Chinese Z11 uses a Dimensity 8500, the Malaysian Z11x runs a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, and the Indian variant gets its own chip entirely. According to 91mobiles, the Dimensity 7500 Turbo scores over 1.2 million on AnTuTu and delivers roughly twice the AI performance of the previous generation, with 25% lower power draw. The India model also gets a curved front display and a redesigned rear camera housing — details that distinguish it visually from its siblings.
The screen measures 6.83 inches with a 1.5K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and a claimed peak brightness of 5,000 nits. The main camera uses a 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor with optical image stabilisation, and the front camera hits 32MP. Fast charging comes in at 90W, per Digit India.
No UK or US path confirmed
iQOO does not officially sell its Z-series in the UK or US, and the Z11 has no FCC or CE certification announced. Grey-import resellers exist, but band compatibility is unreliable on Western carrier networks. The only iQOO model with any informal UK pricing is the Z11 Turbo — a separate flagship — at around £310 through third-party sellers.
The Indian launch price is expected to sit between Rs 30,000 and Rs 35,000, roughly £290–360 or $370–460 at current rates. That puts it in the same bracket as the Xiaomi Poco F6 Pro and Samsung Galaxy A55 — phones that are actually available to buy here. For anyone in the UK shopping that segment, the Redmi Note 17 is a more accessible alternative with confirmed European availability.
iQOO's strategy is consistent: use India as a testing ground for new silicon and design choices before any wider rollout. Whether the Dimensity 7500 Turbo eventually surfaces in a globally certified device remains to be seen.
