That's a meaningful premium over the already-expensive G6 gallery series, and it's aimed squarely at buyers who care as much about what their living room looks like as what's on screen.
The design
The W6 achieves its near-invisible profile by moving all the hardware — power supply, ports, processing — into a separate Zero Connect Box. That box communicates with the panel wirelessly, transmitting 4K video up to 32 feet away with no signal cable running up the wall. The panel itself attaches via a near-invisible flat ribbon and magnetic mounts, sitting close enough to the wall that there's effectively no gap. It is wall-mount only: there's no stand option, so if your living room layout ever changes, you're back to repositioning magnets and routing cables.

Standard OLED strengths — infinite contrast, perfect black — carry over. An advanced anti-reflection coating helps in brighter rooms, which has historically been an OLED weak point. When the TV is off, a Gallery+ mode lets it display art or personal photos, a direct answer to Samsung's The Frame. The wireless 4K connection has received TÜV Rheinland certification for low-latency performance, according to The Elec, including support for 165Hz gaming.

The 77-inch starts at $5,499.99 (US) and £4,699 (UK); the 83-inch is $7,499.99 and £6,799 respectively, confirms Forbes. Pre-orders are live on LG.com, with broader retail availability expected from May–June 2026. That price gap over the G6 is roughly $1,000 — entirely attributable to the wireless system and the wall-flush form factor. The W6 is not a TV for everyone, but for buyers already committed to a minimalist, cable-free interior, it's the most complete version of that idea on the market right now.
