Samsung unveils shape-shifting smart speaker with flexible 12.4-inch display

Samsung unveiled several interesting products at IMID 2021 in Korea, one of which is a smart speaker with flexible screen.

What is it?

It's a "smart" speaker, shaped like a cylinder. Its girdles a 12,4-inch OLED display, which anytime you can "straighten" with a proprietary application on smartphone. The result is almost a tablet for video calling or watching videos.

The transformation happens in seconds. Then the display goes back to cylindrical shape.

By the way, also at this show Samsung showed a foldable S-shaped gadget that can be folded in half and turned into smartphone. And in unfolded form it's a massive 17,3-inch tablet. On the turn, LG introduced 88-inch sound OLED TV and "smart" bed with 55-inch transparent OLED screen.

In addition, Samsung is expected to introduce a 48-inch flexible OLED panel with cinematic sound and a 34-inch monitor with 144 Hz refresh rate.
