11 POCO smartphones will not receive MIUI 12.5 Enhanced

Xiaomi has completed the first phase of MIUI 12.5 Enhanced rollout. The firmware is available for a dozen flagship 2020-2021 smartphones and is preparing for a global launch. But not all POCO brand models will get it.

Who will be left out?

POCO F2 Pro and POCO F3 were included in the list smartphones that will receive the global MIUI 12.5 Enhanced. The fate of the POCO F3 GT, which is the global (so far only Indian) version of the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition, is still in limbo. But we know the list of models that will definitely remain without update:

  1. POCO X3;
  2. POCO X3 NFC;
  3. POCO X3 Pro;
  4. POCO X2;
  5. POCO M3;
  6. POCO M3 Pro;
  7. POCO M2;
  8. POCO M2 Pro;
  9. POCO M2 Reloaded
  10. POCO C3;
  11. Pocophone F1.

Recall, POCO X3 and POCO X3 NFC have several differences. One of them is clear already from the name. The version without NFC is sold in India and is equipped with a 6000mAh battery. The version with NFC came out in Europe and has a 5160mAh battery.

As for the global MIUI 12.5 Enhanced, it has already been announced, but the company will distribute the update only from the fourth quarter of 2021.
