The world's cheapest electric car goes on sale

The cheapest representative of electric cars has appeared on the market. The new product is called the electricKar K5. It has already gone on sale in China.

What kind of animal?

Despite the fact that the manufacturer calls electricKar K5 an electric car, its technical parameters make it more like a quad bike. But it will try to compete with models like the Freze Nikrob for consumers' wallets. However, we will hardly see it outside the Celestial Empire.

The electricKar K5 is produced by Regal Raptor Motors. Overall dimensions are 2.2 x 1.09 x 1.62 meters. The car is equipped with a 2.7 kWh battery, which charges from zero to 100% from a simple household outlet for 8 hours. The engine has 800 watts of power and enables speeds of up to 44 km/h. According to the manufacturer, it has a maximum range of 66 km.

How much is it?

The novelty is available on Alibaba, where it costs $2,100. For comparison, the iPhone 12 Pro Max with 512GB of internal memory will cost $1,850 there as well. However, if you order ten electricKar K5s at once, the electric car will be $50 cheaper than Apple's smartphone.
