Insider: OPPO foldable smartphone will get 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast charging

Chinese insider Digital Chat Station continues to share details about OPPO's first commercial foldable smartphone.

This time the informant reported that the device will be equipped with a 4,500mAh battery. It will support 65W fast charging. In comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 has a mAh battery with 25-watt charging and the Huawei Mate X2 has a 4500 mAh battery with 55-watt charging.

Recall, OPPO's foldable smartphone is expected to get a book form factor. The main screen of the device will have an OLED panel with a diagonal of up to 8 inches. The display will get 2K resolution as well as support for 120Hz picture refresh rate. Under the hood of the gadget will be installed processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 888. The novelty is also credited with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a main camera with a 50 MP Sony IMX766 sensor and a 32 MP front-facing camera.

If rumors are to be believed, expect OPPO's foldable device this year is not worth it. It is planned to be shown in the first half of 2022.
