MacOS Monterey includes a new screensaver with the same name
Immediately following the launch New Apple MacBook Pro unveiled: everything we've been dreaming of , Apple provided developers with a release candidate version of macOS Monterey, and in most cases, it is RC that represents the final version, which is known to be released on Monday.
In the update, Apple introduced a new screensaver "Monterey" which is intended to complement the system wallpaper "Monterey" already long available in previous beta versions of the operating system.
The screensaver "Monterey" offers a slow transition through hills and valleys in various shades of pink, purple and blue, as shown in the video below.

In the near-final build of macOS Monterey, Apple has made some major changes, undoing nearly all of the design changes Safari introduced in June. Safari looks the same as macOS Big Sur, but for those who prefer the new "compact" Monterey design, there's still an option to choose it.
