Ethereum hits an all-time high - the price is close to $4,500

Ethereum cryptocurrency updated its historic high on October 29 in the afternoon. Its value reached $4,453.88.

Ethereum is the world's second largest digital currency by market capitalization ($521.84 billion). Its share is already about 19%. The rate broke through the mark $4,400 for the first time in history, renewing the record that was set on May 12, 2021 ($4,380).

Recall that at the end of summer update London completely changed the mechanism of charging fees for completed transactions. Due to this, a sharp fall of the cryptocurrency rate was expected. However, compared to September Ethereum rose in price by more than one and a half times (+60%).

At the time of writing this post, the value of one Ethereum coin is $4,418.65. That's 4.73% more than 24 hours ago and 12% more than a week ago.
