Redmi Note 8T, Redmi Note 8 Pro, Redmi Note 9, Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro and 20 more smartphones will not get Android 12

Last week we wrote about 39 Xiaomi smartphones that received a stable or test version of MIUI 12.5 with Android 12 operating system. It also became known which models will definitely remain without the twelfth revision of the OS.

Who will not update

The Chinese manufacturer has no plans to release software for 24 smartphones. The vast majority have been announced for 2019:

4. Xiaomi Mi 9T
5. Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro
6. Xiaomi CC9
7. Xiaomi CC9 Meitu
8. Redmi K20
9. Redmi K20 Pro
10. Redmi K20 Pro Premium
11. Redmi Note 8
12. Redmi Note 8T
13. Redmi Note 8 Pro

Several fairly popular 2020 models will also remain without Android 12:

2. Redmi 10X 4G
3. Redmi 9 Prime
4. Redmi 9
5. Redmi 9A
6. Redmi 9AT
7. Redmi 9i
8. Redmi 9C
9. POCO C3
10. POCO M2

The only 2021 smartphone that will not get Android 12 is POCO M2 Reloaded. It differs from the usual M2 only in new colors and increased memory.
