Bitcoin has set a new record: the cryptocurrency is already worth more than Tesla

On November 9, the cryptocurrency Bitcoin successfully crossed the $68,000 mark for the first time in its history and renewed its historical high recorded on October 20.

The price of one BTC coin at the time of writing (09:23 Kyiv time) is $68,110. The record was recorded at 5:59 Kiev time, when the rate reached $68,530.

Along with this the market capitalization of the largest digital currency increased. The total value of Bitcoin now stands at about $1.286 trillion. For comparison, the capitalization of Tesla dropped to $1.244 trillion after the stock plummeted.

Ethereum also set a new record. While yesterday we wrotethat the rate was close to $4,800, a couple of hours ago the cryptocurrency was trading at $4,837 per coin.
