Ryan Reynolds revealed the unreleased foldable Microsoft Surface Neo tablet in Netflix's 'Red Notice'

 A new movie " Red Notice"(Red Notice) with Gal Gadot, Ryan Reynolds and Dwayne " The Rock"Johnson in lead roles was released the other day on Netflix. And in it noticed an interesting detail - foldable Microsoft Surface Neo tablet.

What does this mean?

Recall, Microsoft Surface Neo was introduced along with the Surface Duo smartphone in October 2019. It's a device with two 9-inch screens that are held together by a sturdy hinge at the center and protected by Gorilla Glass. Unlike the  Surface Duo, which went on sale , the Surface Neo never  appeared on the commercial market - likely due to the pandemic and the global semiconductor shortage.

The appearance of the tablet in movie was taken as a hint that it will  arrive on store shelves after all. But that probably never  will happen. The thing is that filming began in very early 2020. It looks like Microsoft then agreed to the collaboration, not suspecting that it would run into problems and not be able to get Microsoft Surface Neo into production for sales.
