The Kiev Regional Prosecutor's Office announced the discovery of an illegal cryptocurrency farm near Kiev. She was connected to a transformer substation.
What is known
During its operation, the digital currency mining farm caused damage to the state in the amount of UAH 3,500,000, but it has not yet been established how long the attackers have been mining coins. The equipment was installed in hangars in the Buchansky district.
Law enforcers have seized all equipment. According to Part 3 of Art. 190 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (fraud committed by illegal operations using electronic computers), attackers face three to eight years in prison. But to do this, you first need to find them.
