Google Street View now displays Christmas decorations inside the White House
Now you can tour the halls of the White House, decorated with Christmas trees and other decor appropriate for the season - that is, virtually. Google first added the official residence of the President of the United States to its list of places to visit on Street View nearly a decade ago. But now you can take a virtual walk through its territory to see how it was decorated.

In addition to 360-degree Street View, the White House Experience Tour is now available on the White House Experience mobile and web app. Live tours of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue are currently not available to the public due to the COVID-19 pandemic, according to The Hill, so these virtual tours may be the only way to see its festive decorations.
The White House is just one of the many historical sites that you can visit with Street View: the Chilean Palace of Moneda, the Taj Mahal, the Pyramids of Giza, the Palace of Versailles, and the Colosseum. and much more... If you still can't (or don't want to) travel due to the pandemic, perhaps a virtual trip or two will be enough to keep you morally supported.
