This year, Hazelight Studios celebrates its 10th anniversary. And this year, the studio will show us something interesting.

Harold Halibut is a story-driven debut game by indie studio Slow Bros that immediately catches the eye with its style. Each element of the game was carefully handcrafted by the studio using traditional modelling sculpting techniques to achieve a stop-motion effect. There are few games like this in the industry that can be counted on one hand. That is why the gg editorial team could not pass by and received the game for review.

You know, there are games that don't need to be presented. And Red Dead Redemption 2 is a prime example of this situation. Although the game was released back in 2018, it can still easily give a head start to new games, as it still remains one of the best. And if for some reason you haven't played it yet, it's time to fix it, because the game has received a 60% discount on Steam.

Ereban: Shadow Legacy is the debut indie game by the young Spanish studio Baby Robot. The authors have created a stealth platformer where we, as a representative of a forgotten race, using various gadgets and the ability to turn into a shadow, must fight back against a corporation that has turned the world into a robotic dictatorship. And the gg editorial team, having received the game for review, went to save the world once again. It was interesting to play, especially in arenas with enemies, where you have to think carefully about every step, because even one mistake can mean losing. Although it seems that in certain aspects the developers lacked experience, Ereban: Shadow Legacy is a game that is at least worth paying attention to, because Baby Robot's potential is already noticeable.

One day, Team Ninja decided to create a cocktail of Assassin's Creed, Nioh, and Ghost of Tsushima, and the studio received Rise of the Ronin, an open-world adventure role-playing game about 19th-century Japan, where we, in the role of an unnamed ronin, must influence the situation in the country. Having received the game for review, the gg editorial team decided to understand the specifics of this combination. The plot of the game turned out to be good, but not exciting. This is a story about political games, where we find ourselves in the epicentre of all events. The events of Rise of The Ronin are reminiscent of Clavell's book Shogun, but the game takes place 150 years later. Against the backdrop of the popular Netflix series Shogun, this analogy comes naturally.
