Google has learnt how to generate product images based on description for gift search
Google Search Generative Experience (SGE) search engine with artificial intelligence functions will get new features that will help users in search for gifts and shopping. In particular, the text description will be used to create images of non-existent goods similar to which it will be possible to buy.
Here's What We Know
When searching for gift ideas, Google will offer thematic selections and helpful content in specific categories. And if the user cannot find the desired product, he will be able to describe it with text.
Based on this description, the system will generate a realistic image of a non-existent product. SGE will then suggest similar real options for purchase from the Google Shopping catalogue.
This should help in cases when a person knows exactly what he or she wants, but cannot find such a product on sale. The new feature will be coming to Google's mobile app in December in the US.
Google has also expanded virtual clothing fitting for men before the festive season. This will make it easier to choose gifts.
