No Android 14: Google Pixel devices have started receiving September's security update

Google, after weeks of delay, has released its monthly security update for Pixel devices.

Here's What We Know

Owners of the Pixel 4a 5G, Pixel 5, Pixel 5a, Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, Pixel Fold and Pixel Tablet smartphones in the global market have already started receiving the system.

Unfortunately, the firmware is still based on the Android 13 operating system. The devices should get the update to Android 14 in early October.

As for the list of changes, it contains an up-to-date security patch that closes software vulnerabilities, including an issue related to the ARM architecture and having the identifier CVE-2023-4211.
