Razer has introduced a duo of top gaming notebooks Blade 18 and Blade 16. The key differences between them lie in the screens, dimensions and price.

Here's What We Know

Both models are equipped with Intel Core processors of Raptor Lake-HX generation. Also a GeForce RTX 40 graphics card is inside. The top-end modifications use the flagship GeForce RTX 4090 cards with a 175W TGP.

The Razer Blade 16 has a Mini LED display with 1000 nits of brightness and two modes of operation: 4K UHD at 120 Hz and FHD+ at 240 Hz. The larger model cannot boast of such an option. Note that when selecting a frequency of 240 Hz brightness is reduced to 600 nits at maximum. The disadvantage of this technology is that to switch between modes you need to restart the device. This can hardly be called convenient.

Razer is positioning the Blade 18 as the most powerful laptop in the history of the brand. It offers users a QHD+ panel with 240 Hz refresh rate and a 5 MP webcam trailer to the top hardware platform.

Both novelties got several USB-C and HDMI 2.1 ports for connecting additional equipment. But only the Blade 18 boasts an Ethernet connector. Blade 16 owners will have to limit themselves to Wi-Fi or USB modem connection.

Price & When We Can Expect It

Of course, Razer's novelties can't be called cheap. The Blade 16 with a base model costs from $2700. The Blade 18 will cost a minimum of $2900. In the top configurations notebooks will cost more than $3500. Sales will begin in the first quarter of 2023.
