ASUS unveiled Vibe CX34 Flip Chromebook with Intel Alder Lake chip, 144Hz display and MIL-STD-810H protection

ASUS introduced a new Chromebook at CES 2023. It is called ASUS Chromebook Vibe CX34 Flip. The novelty is positioned as a gaming Chromebook, but there is a nuance. The model is focused on cloud gaming.

Here's What We Know

ASUS Chromebook Vibe CX34 Flip is equipped with Intel Core processors of the penultimate generation (Alder Lake) and did not get a discrete graphics card. The screen has a diagonal of 14" resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, 8 to 5 aspect ratio and support frame rate of 144 Hz.

The top-of-the-line modification of the Chromebook offers an Intel Core i7-1255U processor, 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSSD M.2 drive. The chip has two performance cores, 12 threads, 3.5-4.7 GHz and a power consumption of 15-55 watts.

The ASUS Chromebook Vibe CX34 Flip aims for cloud gaming via Xbox Cloud Gaming and NVIDIA GeForce Now services. USB-C, USB-A, HDMI and Mini-Jack connectors are provided for connecting additional devices. It also has Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.1 and a backlit keyboard with MIL-STD-810H protection.

The price and launch date of the ASUS Chromebook Vibe CX34 Flip are not specified.
