Dell has unveiled a new thin and light notebook with top-of-the-range hardware. The new product is called the Dell XPS 17.

Here's What We Know

The laptop features a 4K+ UHD (3840 x 2400 dots) LCD display. The liquid crystal panel takes up 93.7% of the inside cover, supports DisplayHDR+ and has 93.7% DCI-P3 colour range coverage. The diagonal is 17".

The Dell XPS 17 gets 32GB of RAM and a 1TB PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSD drive in the max version. If desired, a 4TB SSD and another 32GB memory module can be installed, increasing the total capacity to 64GB. The graphics subsystem is represented by an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 graphics card, and the heart of the laptop is the latest generation Core i5 / Core i7 / Core i9 chip, depending on the configuration.

It comes with a 97Wh battery with 130W fast charging capacity. The device is charged via the USB-C connector. We also note Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 adapters, a microSD card slot, headphone output and Thunderbolt 4.0 support.

Price & When We Can Expect It

The Dell XPS 17 starts at $3749. The laptop will go on sale later this year in the US and Canada.
