ASUS announces ZenScreen MB16QHG portable WQXGA monitor with 120Hz refresh rate

Taiwanese technology giant ASUS has unveiled a portable monitor. The model is called ASUS ZenScreen MB16QHG.

Here's What We Know

The device is equipped with an IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, which corresponds to the WQXGA format. The display has support for 120Hz refresh rate and SmoothMotion technology to display a smooth picture. DisplayHDR 400 compliance is also claimed.

ASUS ZenScreen MB16QHG is equipped with an L-shaped stand. Support for DisplayWidget Center technology allows the monitor to automatically change orientation from landscape to portrait and vice versa.

On each end of the L-rack, there are USB-C connectors. So you can connect your laptop from either side of the monitor and the slim bezel will provide a seamless dual display. The monitor itself weighs 1.2kg and is 7mm thick at the edges. As well as USB-C, there's also an HDMI connector in the arsenal.

Price & When We Can Expect It

ASUS hasn't revealed the price yet. The sales launch date will also be announced later.
