ASRock unveils 55" 8K gaming monitor with HDMI 1.1 and 90W charging

ASRock has unveiled an 8K UHD gaming monitor at Computex 2023. The model is called ASRock PG558KF.

Here's What We Know

The novelty is equipped with a Falt IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 7680 x 4320 pixels. The image refresh rate is only 60 Hz. The panel has a peak brightness of up to 1000 nits, 252 backlight points and 1200:1 contrast ratio.

The ASRock PG558KF features two DisplayPort 1.4 connectors, two HDMI 2.1, four USB-A 3.1 Gen 2 and one USB-C. The latter has support for fast charging via Power Delivery 3.0. The power output is 90W. There are also a pair of 10W speakers on board.

Price & When We Can Expect It

The ASRock PG558KF price is not specified. The new 8K monitor is scheduled to go on sale in 2023.
